In a recent interview, Ducati's General Manager, Gigi Dall'Igna, revealed the 'main problem' stemming from Marc Marquez's latest injury. It's a story that highlights the fine line between success and setback in the world of MotoGP.

The injury has disrupted Ducati's plans, as Marquez was set to use the final races of 2025 to develop new strategies. "This is where the real issue lies," Dall'Igna explained. "We can't implement our testing plans as scheduled, and that's a significant setback."
Ducati has had to rely on other riders, like Pecco Bagnaia, but his inconsistent form since the summer break has made it challenging to fill Marquez's shoes. For the final two rounds, starting this weekend in Portugal, Ducati will bring in World Superbike star Nicolo Bulega to replace Marquez.
Marquez's absence will also be felt at the post-race test in Valencia, where he was scheduled to participate. There's no set timeline for his recovery, but MotoGP medical director Dr. Angel Charte has emphasized that Marquez must be 100% fit before returning.
